How to measure

Measure without a bra on, or in a thin unpadded one. Keep the tape level all the way around.

Underbust

Measure directly under your bust where a band would sit. Pull the tape snug and breathe out. This is the number that decides your size.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape loose enough not to compress. Stand relaxed with your arms down.

Check the fit at home

Try it on before you take the tags off. Four things to look for.

The band

It should sit level across your back and stay put when you raise your arms. You should be able to slide two fingers underneath, no more.

The cups

Smooth with no gaping at the top and no spillage at the edges. Gaping means size down, spillage means size up.

The straps

They should rest on your shoulders without digging in. If they dig, the band is doing too little work and you likely need to size down.

Movement

Jump a few times. You want light movement and no bounce, and you should be able to take a full breath without effort.

Studio or Cardio

Both fit the same way, so keep your usual size in either. The difference is the fabric and the level of support.

Studio

Certified organic cotton with light support. Made for the studio, slow days and wearing under everything else.

Cardio

Microtencel with medium support. Cool, light and quick to dry. Made for running, heat and higher output.

An organic cotton sports bra for the studio and everything after it. A soft V neckline and light support, no underwire, cut to sit smooth under a shirt or wear on its own. Soft enough that you forget you have it on.

Light support, no underwire. Soft V neckline with full front coverage. Straight straps, no adjusters. Elastic underband, pulls over the head. True to size, sizes XS to L. Model is 5'8" and wears XS.

Fabric & care

Made from organic cotton with a nontoxic stretch fiber. The fabric is certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Cradle to Cradle. Machine wash cold, hang dry, no fabric softener.

Before you order

What is it made of?

88% organic cotton and 12% nontoxic Japanese elastane. Our elastane holds a Cradle to Cradle Certified® Material Health Gold certificate.

Is the cotton organic?

Yes. Our cotton is certified to the Organic Content Standard (OCS).

How is it different from the Microtencel?

The Studio is a bit softer with more give, but the same snug compression. Both are made in Portugal with the same kind of stretch fiber.

What activities is it best for?

Yoga, pilates, hiking, everyday wear–lounging. Lighter days of activity.

Is it see-through?

No–we’ve tested the line extensively in a deep squat under bright light.

How does it fit?

Like our High Octane line, The Studio can look a bit smaller but stretches to fit just right. If you’re on the fence, size ever so slightly up.

How do I care for it?

Machine wash cold or at 86 fahrenheit on a gentle cycle, no bleach. Tumble dry low or line dry. Skip fabric softener, which coats the fibers over time.
