How to measure

Measure without a bra on, or in a thin unpadded one. Keep the tape level all the way around.

Underbust

Measure directly under your bust where a band would sit. Pull the tape snug and breathe out. This is the number that decides your size.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape loose enough not to compress. Stand relaxed with your arms down.

Check the fit at home

Try it on before you take the tags off. Four things to look for.

The band

It should sit level across your back and stay put when you raise your arms. You should be able to slide two fingers underneath, no more.

The cups

Smooth with no gaping at the top and no spillage at the edges. Gaping means size down, spillage means size up.

The straps

They should rest on your shoulders without digging in. If they dig, the band is doing too little work and you likely need to size down.

Movement

Jump a few times. You want light movement and no bounce, and you should be able to take a full breath without effort.

Studio or Cardio

Both fit the same way, so keep your usual size in either. The difference is the fabric and the level of support.

Studio

Certified organic cotton with light support. Made for the studio, slow days and wearing under everything else.

Cardio

Microtencel with medium support. Cool, light and quick to dry. Made for running, heat and higher output.

It starts with wood pulp. The cellulose is dissolved and formed into lyocell fibers, giving Cardio its distinctive feel.

What is it made of?

88% micro lyocell and 12% elastane, in a 275 gsm knit. Micro lyocell is a fine fiber made from wood pulp. Our elastane holds a Cradle to Cradle Certified® Material Health Gold certificate.

What is micro lyocell?

A plant-based fiber spun from wood pulp. It's naturally breathable and soft against the skin, with a smooth hand that suits close-fitting pieces. High Octane has an ever so slight sheen, and is more compressive, hard-wearing, and sweat-wicking than our cotton.

What activities is it best for?

This line is for your high intensity activities– those days when you’re really giving it your all. They can handle a bit of wear and tear and a lot of sweat!

Is it see-through?

No–we’ve tested it extensively in a deep squat under bright light.

How does it fit?

Like The Studio line, High Octane can look a bit smaller but stretches to fit just right. If you’re on the fence, size ever so slightly up.

How do I care for it?

Machine wash cold or at 86 fahrenheit on a gentle cycle, no bleach. Tumble dry low or line dry. Skip fabric softener, which coats the fibers over time.
